Foodsheikh & Foodsheikha Welcome You!

A big hello going out to all the Foodies out there. This is Food Sheikh and Food Sheikha, and together, we are the Food Sheikhers (Pun intended :D) who love FOOD, and everything about it.

We both come from a hospitality background having had the privilege of studying at the Les Roches School of International Hotel Management in Switzerland. We live in Toronto, Canada and love spending most of our weekends trying different restaurants around town.

Our mixed background has enabled us to appreciate cultural diversity especially when it comes to exploring different cuisines around the world or in our own kitchen. Foodsheikh was born in Indonesia, raised in Morocco yet he is of Indian ethnicity. Whereas Foodsheikha was born and partly raised in UAE, spent her teenage years in Canada, and is also of Indian ethnicity. Foodsheikh is a Hotel General Manager and a Food and Beverage Business Consultant while Foodhsheikha is a Human Resources Manager and a passionate home cook.

For us, it’s not only about trying different restaurants in the city but also about exploring the art of home cooking. We look forward to sharing our experiences with all Foodies out there. Find us on instagram as foodsheikh_ca & foodsheikha_ca. We are also on Facebook, TikTok and Twitter as “FoodSheikhers”.
